“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Nowadays, as every possible thing that could go wrong in the world seems to be going wrong, it can be hard to have hope—hope that things will go back to the way they were: hope that we’ll be back in school soon; hope that we’ll finally be able to hug our friends and family again…
Whatever you hope for, hold onto it, and never let it go. For it is hope that keeps us going, sustaining the soul in even the roughest of times.
Although it might be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel right now, it’s important to recognize that God always has a plan for us. Like Jesus who overcame sin by dying on the cross, we, too, will have to overcome many obstacles throughout our lives, and this just happens to be one of them. But in the end, we’ll emerge stronger people, and grow to possess a greater appreciation for God’s gifts than we ever had before.
Things will go back to normal before we know it; but in the meantime, try and keep that hope alive!
